Shmuel Ben Shalom is a designer and artist who creates content and visual concepts for commercials, music videos, and live events.
He recently served as the Chief Creative Director for the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest. Initial reports show this year's broadcast breaking a world record for viewings of a live event (over 200 million viewers worldwide). Global media have commented on the quality and originality of many elements of the show.
Shmuel’s clients for the creative concept and set design include Dita Von Teese, Samsung, Shell, Coca-Cola, Vogue Hommes International, Nestle, PWC, and Huwaii.
Shmuel has been the leading production designer in the commercial industry in Israel.
As an artist, Shmuel has exhibited at the Rossana Orlandi Gallery in Milan, the Pier Stotenmier Gallery in Paris, and the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.
In addition, Shmuel collaborated with the artist Yael Bartana for her recent exhibition at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and is supporting the Holon Design Museum (Israel) in putting together its largest fashion exhibition to date.
